The Packers have signed fullback Erryn Cobb and released safety Marviel Underwood. Cobb was a rookie free agent out of Northwestern, where he was a co-captain in 2006. Underwood was a fourth-round pick for the Pack in the 2005 NFL Draft. He appeared in 16 games for Green Bay. The Packers play the Jaguars tomorrow night.

Packers Prep For Jaguars
The Packers are preparing to take on the Jaguars on Thursday night. Coach Mike McCarthy took action Monday to shore up his weakest position on defense, handing the strong safety job to Atari Bigby, and taking that job away from Marquand Manuel. The Packers informed safety Marviel Underwood that he will be released today.
