Packers’ Morency Out With Knee Injury

Packers running back Vernand Morency will miss several weeks of training camp after injuring his knee in the team’s first practice of the season. Originally thought to be just a bruised knee, but head coach Mike McCarthy said that the injury is now more serious. Morency entered camp as the top starter after picking up 421 yards on 96 carries as a backup to Ahman Green last season.
