Driver Placed On PUP List Due to Arm Injury

Veteran WR Donald Driver failed a physical and was placed on the PUP over the weekend. The Packer WR has been dealing with a shoulder injury for seven months. He has not had the arm strength to pass the test, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “He has a re-occurring injury with the shoulder that he hurt last year, so, he will be day-to-day with the shoulder,” coach Mike McCarthy said. Driver is a player that the Pack has been counting on at the wide out position to step up this season since the team did not go out and get a high profile receiver for Bret Favre. Last season Driver was a huge part of the Pack’s success, catching 92 passes for 1295 yards and 8 touchdowns. He is the go-to guy in the offense, and without him the team lacks big-time at the position. In 9 seasons, Driver has caught 421 passes for 5929 yards and 36 TDs. Anytime missed in the regular season is going to become a huge concern for the team.
