Lambeau Field To Get New Barrier Wall For Security

Packers fans and players will experience an added measure of security this season as a large barrier is built to surround Lambeau Field. The high wall is being erected to protect people inside the stadium from any vehicles that might come crashing into the facility. The enhanced security is being required at all NFL stadiums this year. The change in Green Bay will also mean the elimination a few hundred parking spaces. Installation of the million-dollar wall will start next month, and is to be in place for the Packers’ first pre-season game in August.
